Research use and safety

All Premier Peptides products are supplied strictly for in-vitro research use only and are not intended for human or veterinary use.
Products should be handled, stored and disposed of in accordance with appropriate laboratory procedures and applicable regulations.
Always refer to the relevant product information and documentation before handling any research material.

Refunds and returns

At Premier Peptides, we take product quality, product integrity and customer satisfaction seriously. Due to the nature of our research products, including products that may be temperature-sensitive or sensitive to contamination and tampering, certain products cannot be returned once they have been opened, unsealed or used.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable South African law.
1. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
Premier Peptides does not ordinarily accept returns or refunds where a customer:
• Changes their mind after placing an order. • Orders the incorrect product, strength or quantity. • No longer requires the product. • Finds the product available elsewhere at a lower price. • Has opened, unsealed, used, reconstituted, mixed or otherwise altered the product. • Has not stored or handled the product in accordance with the applicable storage requirements.
Due to the nature of our products, opened or unsealed products cannot be accepted for resale and therefore cannot ordinarily be returned for change-of-mind reasons.
2. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS
If your order arrives damaged, you receive an incorrect product, or you believe a product may be defective, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Examples include:
• Damaged packaging or product. • A leaking or compromised product. • An incorrect product being supplied. • A product materially different from the product ordered. • A suspected manufacturing or product defect.
Please do not open, use, reconstitute or otherwise alter the product if you believe there is an issue with it.
3. REPORTING A PROBLEM
To allow us to investigate the issue efficiently, please provide:
• Your name and order number. • A description of the problem. • Photographs or video of the product and packaging where applicable. • The product label and batch information where available. • Any relevant information regarding delivery and storage after receipt.
Customers should retain the product and its packaging until the matter has been resolved.
4. INSPECTION AND ASSESSMENT
Where reasonably necessary, Premier Peptides may request photographs, additional information or return of the product for inspection.
An inspection may be used to determine whether the issue resulted from:
• A manufacturing or product defect. • Damage occurring during delivery. • An incorrect product being supplied. • Improper storage or handling after delivery. • Contamination, tampering or alteration after delivery.
Where a return or inspection is required in connection with a qualifying defective product claim, this will be handled in accordance with applicable South African consumer law.
5. APPROVED RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Where a return is approved, Premier Peptides will provide the applicable remedy in accordance with the circumstances and applicable law.
Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
6. PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN OPENED OR ALTERED
For product integrity and safety reasons, we cannot ordinarily accept products that have been:
• Opened or unsealed. • Used or reconstituted. • Mixed with another substance. • Contaminated. • Tampered with. • Stored outside the stated storage conditions.
This does not limit any statutory rights that may apply where a product is genuinely defective.
7. UNAUTHORISED RETURNS
Please contact us before sending any product back.
Products should not be returned without prior instructions from Premier Peptides. This allows us to ensure that returns are handled appropriately and that product storage, traceability and integrity can be maintained.
8. STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive, restrict or exclude any right or remedy granted to a consumer under applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
Where a mandatory provision of applicable law applies, that provision will take precedence over this policy. The Consumer Protection Act provides statutory remedies for qualifying defective goods.
